September 21st, 2016 marks the 6-year anniversary of Catch Internet. Since its inception in 2010, Catch Internet has come through considerable changes and has established itself as one of the leading web development companies of Nepal.
Where did it all begin?
Catch Internet is the dream project of Sakin Shrestha, an entrepreneur and WordPress Strategist from Nepal. It had a humble start as an outsourcing company that provided IT services through oDesk, an online marketplace. With his expertise on WordPress, Sakin developed and customized WordPress themes and plugins. Since then, it transitioned to a customer-oriented IT solutions provider to the full-fledged web development company it is now.
And now
Six years down and Catch Internet is one of the exemplary web development companies of Nepal, working exclusively with WordPress.
Guided by the passion of WordPress and its great community, Catch Internet aims to make web publishing not only easy but fun.
Our seasoned team of 9 young but experienced WordPress developers, designers and writers is the root to our success. Having a small team is a conscious decision so that we can remain tight-knit and dedicated to our customers, products and brand.

DevotePress is a website dedicated solely to WordPress. The core goal of this site is to provide quality tutorials, tips & tricks, hacks, news and other WordPress resources to help all level of WordPress users.
Theme Palace is an up and coming marketplace of WordPress themes & plugins in the sea of theme markets. It provides a platform for amazing themes curated by our team from its experienced designers, as well as from independent creators.
And our latest undertaking, NepalBuzz, an online magazine which aims to bring you the latest what’s what, who’s who and how to’s of Nepal.
Besides these, Catch Internet is partnering with:
ThemeReview.co, WordPress community’s first theme review service, providing excerpt review to themes, together with Emil Uzelac and Justin Tadlock.

Giving Back to the Community
WordPress is the core to our continued existence. We are grateful to WordPress and the community and find it important to give back. Our team members have been involved actively in the WordPress community by reviewing themes, submitting patches to the core and developing free and premium WordPress themes and plugins. We are among the founding members of WordPress Nepal, regularly organizing monthly WordPress meetups. We have also been involved in organizing WordCamps in Nepal since 2012 and some of our members have even participated in international WordCamps, breaking the stereotypical barrier of a “Nepali company”. These efforts have inspired and connected a whole generation of young IT and WordPress enthusiasts in Nepal. Since WordPress is a community for the WordPressers and by the WordPressers and we, being a part of it, make sure that we do our bit to give back.
It’s just the beginning
These six years just flew by. But we’re just getting warmed up. We have big plans, and we’re eager to experiment – just as we were six years ago. Looking back, we have had so many great memories with the team and our clients. Thank you everyone who supported us, worked with us, believed in us and helped become what we are today. We are really looking forward to many, many more exciting years ahead!
